The agriturismo is located in the southern part of the Propano farm where originally there were high roofed storage buildings used for hay and machinery. The Farm still grows hay that is sold to the “magari” (alpine cattle farmers).
Before the restoration the stables were home to 160 cows, now during the autumn months cattle can be seen grazing the meadows surrounding the farm. The remaining farm animals include 2 geese(Beep Beep), a hen (Clucks) and Ilario the horse, not to mention the ever faithful dogs, Cucciolo, Giuly the Irish setter, Lupo, Piddles and Pooh.
The agriturismo is built on 2 floors with a studio apartment and 5 rooms on the upper floor, that are reached via a veranda and 4 rooms on the ground floor. The 1st floor rooms have beamed ceilings and brickwork arches, the studio has a magnificent view towards Monviso and the historic centre of Saluzzo. A delightful room with a wooden ceiling has been created above the former entrance.
The ground floor rooms all face the garden and one is equipped for disabled users. The rooms are furnished using a mixture of vintage and contemporary furniture, all have terra cotta flooring and are equipped with satellite TV, internet connection and telephone.
The entrance hall leads through into a bright and spacious living room from where you can gain access to the lawned garden. This room can also be used as a venue for meetings.
The agriturismo has been decorated using vivacious natural colours creating a vibrant contrast.
Only board is available in the agriturismo but if guests wish with a supplement they make take breakfast in the hotel, Antico Podere Propano which is found on the opposite part of the courtyard.
